Financial Aid Info
Solano Surf Soccer Club Club is proud to provide financial aid for our club members and encourages participation in difficult financial seasons. As a 501(c)3 non-profit organization, we are able to offer limited financial assistance in support of your program registration for our club. If you feel your family/player is a candidate for assistance in our program, you may confidentially apply for financial assistance for a portion of your fees as listed below. Please note that all assistance is based on need, as determined by each submitted application and supporting tax/financial/government documentation. Unfortunately, we cannot guarantee that any request for financial assistance may be fulfilled.
* Partial aid may be considered towards the program fee only, AFTER the first program fee (required payment) has been paid. Families are still responsible for payment of uniforms and travel fees.
While there is no deadline for applying for financial aid, we have a limited amount of funds available and once the funds are exhausted we will no longer be able to approve financial aid awards for the 2023/2024 season.

Application Process
Solano Surf Soccer Club has partnered with School and Student Services (SSS) in our club’s financial aid process. SSS is a leader in providing financial aid assistance with schools and clubs, large and small. Its application process can be completed in both English or Spanish. To begin your financial aid application, you will complete the SSS Parents’ Financial Statement (PFS) then submit the required documents.
The PFS is an application that will take some time to complete. Give yourself the time you need by not waiting until our deadline approaches. In addition, a $60.00 application fee is non-refundable and paid directly to SSS via the family portal. Some families may qualify for a waiver of this fee based on total income, family household size, and other factors. Following are the types of documents you should gather before beginning the PFS:
- 1040 with all files and attachments
- W2
- State Tax Return
- Paycheck/Paystub Copy
- 1099
- Bank Statement
- Mortgage Statement
Applications and supporting documentation must be submitted in full to be considered. Incomplete applications will not be considered. The financial aid is limited and will be awarded on a first come first serve basis as aid is available.
FINANCIAL AID NOTIFICATION – To make our decision, we use the information from the PFS as a starting point and consider our Club policies, practices, and available budget. Notification of acceptance/denial for financial assistance awards will come via email from the platform, SSS or club administrator email. The Club Treasurer will automatically update your invoice to reflect your financial aid award.
